Tree Planting Advisory

MCWD ADVISORY ON TREE PLANTING ACTIVITIES
The months from June to December are the best times to conduct tree planting activities as it is the rainy season.
It is during the rainy seasons that we can assure the seedlings survivalability .
Tree planting is one requirement for graduation, thus, we encourage the school heads to program their tree planting activities at this time. You can call or visit the MCWD Office of the Environment Division for your tree seedling needs.
With the impacts of climate change affecting us, be it flooding or so much heat, tree planting is one of the best activities to reduce impacts. For the sustainability of our water resources, it is a must to plant trees.
Thus, MCWD calls on everyone to GROW TREES.
